ISCB-SC RSG-InDIA NCR NODE @JAYPEE INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, NOIDA

The ISCB-SC RSG-NCR Node, established in 2026 at the Department of Biotechnology, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Sector-62, Noida, India is a student-led initiative under the Regional Student Groups (RSG) network of the International Society for Computational Biology Student Council (ISCB-SC). The node is dedicated to advancing research and training in Computational Biology, Genomics, AI-based Medical and Environmental and Agriculture Biotechnology, and AI-driven drug discovery platforms. It aims to provide students and young researchers across the National Capital Region with a collaborative environment for developing technical expertise, engaging in rigorous scientific inquiry, student outreach activities and gaining meaningful exposure to emerging computational approaches in the life sciences. Through workshops, hands-on training, expert lectures, and mentorship initiatives, the node promotes interdisciplinary collaboration among students and young researchers from biotechnology, bioinformatics, computer science, and allied fields, while facilitating engagement with academic and industry experts guided by a commitment to research excellence, skill development, and innovation, the ISCB-SC RSG-NCR Node aspires to cultivate a vibrant scientific community capable of translating computational insights into impactful solutions.
